Central University Punjab Recruitment 2024 Post Details
Position 1: Laboratory Assistant
- Duration: Purely temporary & Contractual for 89 days or till the incumbent’s return, whichever is earlier.
- Number of Posts: 02 (Unreserved)
- Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 37,000/- per month
- Age Limits: Up to 32 Years
Educational and Other Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject* with a minimum of two years of experience in working and maintaining sophisticated scientific instruments in a laboratory. Experience should be in University/Research establishment/Central/State Govt./PSU and other autonomous bodies or Private organization with an annual turnover of at least Rs.200 Crores or more.
Position 2: Laboratory Attendant
- Duration: Purely temporary & Contractual for 89 days or till the incumbent’s return, whichever is earlier.
- Number of Posts: 02 (Unreserved)
- Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 26,000/- per month
- Age Limits: Up to 30 Years
Educational and Other Qualifications:
- Essential: 10+2 with Science stream from any recognized Central/State Board OR 10th Pass from any recognized Central/State Board with Science as one of the subjects and two years of experience in a laboratory of recognized University/Institution/College.
Position 3: Computer Programmer
- Duration: Purely temporary & Contractual for 89 days or till the incumbent’s return, whichever is earlier.
- Number of Posts: 01 (Unreserved)
- Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 41,000/- per month
- Age Limits: Not exceeding 40 years
Educational and Other Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification and Experience: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./Masters’ degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science with two years of full-time programming experience in PHP and MYSQL in a reputed company or University.
- Desirable Qualifications: Working experience on Laravel Framework.

A. The reservations/relaxations to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS candidates will be provided as per the existing Govt. of India/UGC rules. The SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS candidates must upload the relevant certificate as per format prescribed by the Government of India. OBC certificate (Non Creamy Layer) and EWS certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2023. If the relevant certificates for respective reserved categories are not uploaded with the application, the application shall be rejected.
B. Any candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD, who wish to apply for any unreserved post, will not be given any relaxation
